The Coast of Pukaskwa – Lake Superior

This is a true Canadian wilderness sea kayak trip in Pukaskwa National Park. One of our three BIG trips, it’s about 160 kilometers of vast beaches, magnificent headlands, rocky cliffs & majestic waterfalls which are separated by legendary rivers such as the Cascade, and Pukaskwa. We visit the abandoned Pukaskwa depot and Otter Island lighthouse, explore legendary Cascade Falls and meander up river mouths as we drink in the power of this magnificent shore. Completing this distance in 12 days will leave some time to explore as we start at Hattie Cove and travel to Michipicoten or the other way around. It depends on weather and other factors. Price includes Park camping fees; Car parking fees not included. Kayak rental not included. “Bring your own kayak”, fees save you the cost of a kayak rental.
